About us

Winanga-Li Aboriginal Child and Family Centre (Winanga-Li) is a dynamic, not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation grounded in the cultural strength and leadership of the Aboriginal community. At the heart of everything we do is our name: Winanga-Li, from our Gamilaraay language, meaning “hear, listen, know, remember.” This speaks to our deep commitment to cultural knowledge, community voice, and intergenerational wellbeing. Strong children, strong families, strong communities.
