Helping Aboriginal Young People Make Positive Changes and Reduce Involvement With the Justice System
Winanga-li’s Casework Support Program helps Aboriginal young people in Tamworth build safer, stronger futures through culturally grounded, practical support. Funded by Youth Justice NSW, CSP assists young people aged 12 to 18 who are supervised by Youth Justice, transitioning back into community, or part of a Youth Justice Conference or Bail Support arrangement.
About the Program
CSP provides flexible, strengths-based support that addresses the underlying issues contributing to offending behaviour. The program partners with young people and their families to build skills, strengthen wellbeing and support positive decision-making.
Our team works alongside young people in culturally safe and supportive ways, helping them connect with education, training, services and prosocial activities that encourage long-term change.
