Early Childhood Educator  - Gunnedah

Winanga-li Early Learning is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team! We are a community-focused, child-centred service committed to providing quality care and education to children aged 0-5.

Position: Early Childhood Educator

Location: Gunnedah

Position Type: Full-Time

Your Role: As an Early Childhood Educator at Winanga-li, you will:

  • Work closely with children to support their development across all areas—language, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive.
  • Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
  • Develop and implement programs and activities in line with the EYLF, focusing on individual and group learning.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members, fostering a sense of community and connection.
  • Support the development of each child’s social and emotional well-being through positive guidance and modelling.
  • Maintain accurate observations and documentation of children’s progress.

What we’re Looking for:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, families, and team members.
  • An understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
  • A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Have or willingness to obtain a WWCC
  • Have or willingness to obtain a NCRC
